AXIOMA Water Metering Manufacturing Plant

About This Project

The Axioma Metering smart water meter manufacturing complex in the Kaunas Free Economic Zone was developed in two phases.

The first phase involved the design and construction of a new high-tech manufacturing facility comprising production, administrative, storage and technical areas. During the second phase, the complex was significantly expanded by integrating new robotic ultrasonic water meter production lines, additional manufacturing space and supporting infrastructure.

The facility accommodates plastic housing molding, electronics assembly, testing and final meter assembly processes. The project incorporated complex technological, electrical, automation and fire safety systems tailored to the requirements of high-tech manufacturing.

The architectural and functional structure of the facility was developed with a focus on efficient production processes, a high level of automation and opportunities for future expansion. Design solutions enabled the integration of robotic production lines while ensuring smooth material, manufacturing and logistics flows throughout the complex.

Following the second development phase, Axioma Metering's production capacity increased from approximately 2 million to 3 million smart meters per year. More than 90% of production is exported to markets across Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East.

Axioma Metering is one of the largest manufacturers of ultrasonic water metering devices in Europe, developing and producing smart water metering solutions for international markets.
