About This Project

Akvatera W is a modern wet pet food manufacturing facility in Kaunas District, developed as a new stage in KIKA Group’s manufacturing infrastructure. The project was created to produce high-value-added products for international markets and to respond to the rapidly growing demand for wet pet food across Europe, Asia and North America.

The building was designed as a specialised food production facility where architectural solutions are closely integrated with manufacturing technology. The two-storey complex clearly separates raw material reception, production, sterilisation, packaging, warehousing and administrative functions, ensuring a logical and uninterrupted product flow throughout the manufacturing process. This layout enables efficient internal logistics, compliance with the highest hygiene standards and flexibility for future expansion.

Particular attention was given to automation and production process management. The facility incorporates fully automated production lines, from raw material preparation to final packaging and transportation to storage areas. Robotic systems, advanced sterilisation technologies and real-time quality control solutions ensure consistent product quality and high operational efficiency.

The facility has become an important part of KIKA Group’s manufacturing infrastructure, strengthening the company’s position in international markets and supporting the development of a new generation of pet food products that meet the expectations of modern consumers.
