About This Project

The NARBUTAS International manufacturing complex in Ukmergė has been continuously expanded and modernised through several development stages designed by Bendrieji statybų projektai. The projects included reconstruction of existing production facilities, expansion of manufacturing and warehouse areas, and modernisation of engineering infrastructure. Following these development phases, the complex has become one of the largest and most advanced office furniture manufacturing centres in the Baltic region.

Particular attention was given to production efficiency, internal logistics optimisation, implementation of automation solutions and increased manufacturing capacity. The complex integrates wood processing, metal processing, painting, upholstered furniture component manufacturing, assembly, warehousing and logistics functions into a single production ecosystem.

The expansion stages involved reconstruction of existing buildings, construction of new production and storage facilities, modernisation of technological lines and implementation of advanced engineering systems. Since the projects were carried out within an operating factory, maintaining uninterrupted production and phased infrastructure development became key priorities.

Architectural and engineering solutions were focused on long-term operational efficiency, energy optimisation and manufacturing flexibility. The complex is equipped with modern wood, metal and upholstered furniture production technologies that enable automation of key manufacturing processes while ensuring high product quality.
